• Members have until April 9, 2010 to PM any Administrators with the eggs that they've found and the location where they've found those eggs.


• The search function has been disabled temporarily to prevent is use in locating eggs.

• For every egg found, members will receive 1 stamp.


• The first person to PM an Administrator with all the eggs will earn 5 stamp packs in addition to each stamp they'll receive for locating eggs and 5,000 Euros!


• The first 3 Ecstasians to locate all eggs will be placed in a drawing to win a $20 GC of their choice.


• The individual who founds the Easter basket will receive 10 stamp packs and 5,000 Euros.

Ecstasy is back in action and currently looking for snazzy, outgoing, charismatic individuals to help promote and maintain all of our social networking sites. In addition, you'll be responsible for branching out and gaining affiliates while ensuring you remain positive about the community and all its aspects.

If you're interested in joining the Ecstasy team, please be sure you meet the minimum qualifications:


This position entails updating Ecstasy's social networks with news pertaining to the community (i.e Double Euros Day, Contest, Projects, etc); it also entails maintain the look and feel of the community.

·Must be familiar with the mechanics of Livejournal, Dreamwidth, Facebook, Twitter, StumbleUpon, etc.
·Must have the capability of either creating a layout or seeking one out and changing the layouts occasionally.
·Must keep up to date with any news or announcements posted on Ecstasy and transfer such announcements to EMB's social network sites.
·Must remain active at all times both on Ecstasy and on Ecstasy's social network sites.
·Must have the ability to add certain aspects, ideas, or suggestions to EMB's social networks to further its development as well as the interest of our Members.
·Must be able to attend staff meetings, twice each month (AIM will be required).

And the boards have grown immensely since that time. Our member count steadily continues to raise and we've grown from an average of 3 pages of activity to around 4-5 pages! The board continues also continues to add new additions that benefit the members and the community as a whole. If you haven't been by in a while, it is highly suggested that you stop back in as there are a lot of new features to be added in the coming months! School is just around the corner and we expect that even given the busy schedules of our members we'll still be around when the tide dies down.

There have been so many new features added to the forum that it's unbelievable! Members have been extremely helpful in not only giving suggestions but also voting on ones put forth but others! The following is a short list of what has been added to the forum! To find out everything that has been added we encourage you to stop by and see for yourself!


• New Forums: A lot of new forums/sub-forums have cropped up since the opening of the board! Some of the new forums that members have found extremely useful are:
  
  -Programs: A forum where members can download full programs such as Adobe Photoshop CS4, Adobe Illustrator CS4, and more! Members are also more then welcome to share their own programs!
  
  -The Resources: A forum that houses threads with links to the resources that have provided beneficial for our members. Brushes, Textures, Actions, and more! Stop by to see what you'll find!
  
  -Movie Reel: A forum in which members have the ability to download movies or TV Shows in AVI and MP4 format! There's also a request thread for members to use, should the movie/TV Show their interested in not be available.
  
  -Day Zero: A support forum for those participating in the Day Zero Project where the goal is to complete 101 things in 1001 days.! Stop by and share you're goals!
  
  -Entertainment Pictures: A forum where you can find some HQ images for your favorite actors/actresses, TV Shows, and more!
  
  These are just some of the newest additions, please stop on by to see what other changes have been made!
   
• Shop Item Changes: Our newest Administrator Vicki has done a phenomenal job in converting the shop items so they're all the same sizes! The board looks more astethically pleasing and Danika is slowly working to modify the pixel items so that they too can make the other items in the shop!


• Header Navigation Change: There's no denying that the header was a bit cluttered so we fixed it by making it a single bar while utilizing sub-topics with drop down menus. The members have enjoyed this change immensely and we're sure you will too!


• Gift Cards: Now we all know how fun it is to use board money to purchase shop items, but what if you could use your board money to purchase gift cards for your favorite shops on the internet? Well, guess what you can now! They aren't cheap but if you continue to post and utilize the shop you'll be able to buy one in no time!

So why exactly have the Administrators of Ecstasy MB decided to host a blog-a-thon? Because we can! And because we value our members and thought it would be a great activity that would promote the value of community. Not to mention who isn't up for competing for the best blog posts and then winning an amazing prize? Yeah, that's what we thought too!

So Can You Participate?

Absolutely! However, you must be a member of Ecstasy before we'll allow you to do so. If you're not a member, no worries! Ecstasy has always valued the thoughts of its members and this we felt that it was only fitting to sit down with some of the members on the board who post their frequently to see what they think about Ecstasy as a community. We thought it would be best if we sat down with some who's been around since Ecstasy first opened in 2007 and with someone who'd just join. We hope this will provide some insight into the board as a whole through the eyes of your fellow members!

So you were an original member of Ecstasy when it first opened in 2007. Have things changed since then?

Yeah, a ton! But all in a good way. They are all the best changes.

And how do those changes compare? Do you like them? Why/why not?

I love the changes! I mean it's just a friendly place, because of age restrictions and other reasonable regulations.

If you had to give one honest critique about the board, what would it be?

Hmm, honestly, this is the tiniest things, but I'm not fond of the Verdana font. Pretty visual criticism, but that's really just about it. Haha!

Okay, now let's turn it around and have you tell us one great thing about the board.

I LOVE THE PEOPLE! :D Everyone is so great. We really get a chance to get to know one another and everyone is open to new friends.

Ah, the infamous too many rules question. In your honest opinion, do you think there are too many rules? Please elaborate.

No. I don't know how anyone can say there are too many rules. I mean, I am usually the one that doesn't like all the rules, but when it comes to sharing your life on the internet you want people to be respectful and help you, not bash you. Plus I like how everyone speaks (figuratively) and types properly. :)

Being as the rules seem to be what deters a lot of members, what can you say to them about the board being as you post there on a daily basis. Do the rules interfere with the environment or are the Administrators pretty lax about it?

I think the rules are pretty much common sense. Now if you have none, I can see how it may interfere. ;) The administrators are never harsh! They want to fix problems, but never jump to conclusions, they find a friendly way to solve any situations.

Is there anything else you'd like to add?

Ecstasy is a super great place! Come join in the fun, you won't regret it and you will meet some amazing people! :) If you are already a member, thanks for making it so great!

So you've been a member for only 5 days now and you've already hit 100 posts. Did you find that to be difficult?

Nope, it was actually really easy to get to 100 posts. There's so many different topics going on to participate in so it didn't take long.

What are some of your favorite features on the board and why?

I love all of the themes Ecstasy has and I also love the shop there. Being able to buy real stuff with board money is an amazing feature. I also love all of the projects going on.

If you had to give once honest critique about the board, what would it be?

I think it's honestly a really well put together board. It has tons of activity and good guidelines to follow so people don't have to wonder what they have to do. My only complaint would be the forums are hard to get used to because there's so many of them and the names aren't direct so you have to become familiar with them to know your way around.

Okay, now let's turn it around and have you tell us one great thing about the board.

Everyone there is super friendly and there's so many discussions to take part in. You can always count on the activity there to be constant and I love that in a board.

Definitely not, I think that most boards have the same rules but they just don't state them in the "Rules" section, they do it in the forums they belong in. I think having one central place to have the guidelines for the entire board is good because there's no surprises and you're not left to wonder if you're breaking a rule.

No, I've never had any problems with rules at Ecstasy. Like the page says, they're mostly guidelines to follow and not strict rules. The Administrators are not uptight and they aren't going to jump all over people if a rule is broken. The guidelines are just a way to make sure the board is maintained and runs smoothly.

Is there anything else you'd like to add?

Not really, except that I think Ecstasy is a really unique message board and I'm really glad I joined.

Despite the upcoming holiday and school season, Ecstasy is still planning some wonderful events for our members that will ensure they remain active and have fun while doing it! We can't really go into a lot of detail as they will be surprises, but be on the look out for a fun activity which will allow you to interact with members while emphasizing your interests, more contests, and big plans for the holidays just around the corner! It's going to be a phenomenal holiday season so much sure you're there to join in on the fun!
